Blood of the Gorgon Progress, and Last Calls

  • Jan. 29th, 2008 at 11:29 AM
Codex Red and Blue
For those on the fence, Nicolas Logue has posted his adventure outline for patrons to mull over, dissect, and critique. It's looking pretty astounding, with cults and madmen neatly tied to a mystery that messes with the PCs' investigations in original ways. Some mystery, some horror, all closely fused with great combat stages and divination-proof clues. Sign up as a patron of Blood of the Gorgon and see what he's up to.

Also, last call for anyone who wants to sign up for Arabian Nights too late!, and last call for current patrons to pick up Empire of the Ghouls (private link for patrons only).

The hardcopy of Ghouls will be unavailable after January 31st. The Six Arabian Nights will go up in price and will only be available to patrons of Blood of the Gorgon in future. Grab 'em now!

Blood of the Gorgon and Last Calls
Hi
I have not received anything regarding Blood of the Gorgon yet - am I doing something wrong or is there an omission somewhere?

I ask because I also cant access the Ghoul link and I am sure I should be able to.

Best wishes from across the pond

Re: Blood of the Gorgon and Last Calls
You should definitely have gotten the welcome email by now. Please send me mail saying what day you joined, and I'll set you up.

I just (yesterday) signed up as well. I'm sure there is a newb FAQ somewhere but being a newb I don't know where it is.

Thanks

I sent money for blood of the gorgon, but I don't see any outline. When you say "patron" do you mean the super-duper kind? I'm one of the no-frills minimum contribution kind, so perhaps I'm not supposed to be seeing them.

I wish there were some way to see what my membership status was.

No, this was my error. You are now set.

Did he decide on a level range for the adventure? Thats my biggest issue. I dont like playing 3.5e adventures (other than the Ghouls) with levels above 8 or 10.

No it hasn't firmly been set yet..

However Mark, Nick Logue has indicated that he doesn't really want to go over the threshold that you've indicated is your limit.

High levels mean high level divination spells, which tend to wreck mysteries.

That's not a firm answer, but I think you're safe.

Ok, I signed up. Even though I did the Ghouls, my amazing recall doesnt allow me to remember what I do next. What special website do I need to go to for Gorgon?

Thanks for helping me with my alzheimers moment!

Nothing weird, just sign in with your LJ account, and let the Blood of the Gorgon firehose wash over you.

Today's topic = cults, which is pretty much always a recipe for a good time. :)

Quick Q:

When is the cut off to sign up for BotG?

I'm planning on signing up, but I want to sign up at better than entry level and, thus, am waiting for payday.

Anyhow, thanks for the answers. :D

Though we are very close to a greenlight, the signup will stay open for a little while yet, because I hope to fund some great art and maps. The cutoff isn't until February 29th.

Am I a Patron?
I signed up to be a patron for Blood of the Gorgon back on Jan 17 and haven't gotten anything yet - except my PayPal receipt indicating that my payment was received. This is my first patronage - am I supposed to receive anything or do I get access to a special section of this website? Thanks!

Re: Am I a Patron?
Vernon, you are definitely a patron, and I'm happy to hear from you.

The welcome email was sent to your SBC Global email account on the 18th indicating that your LJ name was needed to provide access to the private posts. (Check your spam filter, it may have been caught there.)

However, since you've posted with your LJ here today, I've activated your account. You can now see the private posts; welcome aboard!

I am not sure that I have access to the Blood of the Gorgon stuff yet. Can you check on that for me. If you need the paypal reference I can dig it up.
