Ok, I said I was not going to run fiction in Kobold, but apparently I'm a big fat liar. Because Richard Pett's short story about liches is a freebie up on koboldquarterly.com, and is called
"The Tale of Joshua Cane."

I enjoyed it... nice to get the POV from the people that are usually background, plot hooks, and flavor text in a fantasy world.

Really, you don't look heavy in the pictures. ;)

Feedback: I generally agree with your stance on fiction. These freebies are nice though, and I would never say no to them.
