Blood of the Gorgon Maps and Cover

I am pleased to announce that Blood of the Gorgon has attracted enough patrons that it will feature cover art by an artist who has done great work in the RPG field, including WotC work and book covers.

The adventure will also feature the first complete map of Zobeck. Not the complete city description, mind you, but the first complete map. Open Design contributor [info]settembrini23 will be doing the honors for the Cartographer's Guild. Details on the maps and art will be shared early with the senior patrons for the project. How do you become a senior patron? Donate at a higher level of support, and you'll see more of the project, including much more of the manuscript as it is written.

Even if you support Open Design as a regular patron, you are in for a lot of opportunity to shape this adventure or follow the adventure as it goes from outline to playtest to final text. Nicolas Logue is on a tear, and the brainstorming so far has covered monsters, locales, street gangs, and more. It's shaping up to be a stunning adventure, worthy of the reputation of the man who brought us Viktor Saint-Demain.

Join Open Design as a patron, and help shape the Blood of the Gorgon!

Good news!

Your cartographer isn't registered or is there a typo?

I am onboard.. maybe
After reading about this LJ for a while and seeing your work in Pathfinder, I finally listened to the recent Tome podcast with Nicolas Logue on it. Sounds really exciting, so I decided to take the plunge!

I went to the website and clicked on the $75 button. It sent me to paypal and let me pay properly, but then redirected me to a page that had an error, saying my session had timed out.

The payment went through, so I hope everything is cool and I will receive an email telling me what the next step is. :)

Excited about the project!

So, I have a question about patronage levels--are there entire discussions that happen here on the journal site that lower-level patrons never get to see? I was never sure about the difference between the $25 and $75 slots.

Also, I think Zobeck needs to have a street named after Gary Gygax, in his honor, so to speak... maybe a guild street, named after a prominent guild that may or may not still exist... something cool.

There are threads that happen just for the senior patrons, choosing topics for design essays, background materials, art and map sketches and finals, and of course the manuscript itself.

I think that the senior patrons are partly getting more influence, partly getting more material, and partly just more committed to seeing the project get the best possible art and maps.

The majority of the discussion is always available to the regular members.
