An Easter Egg for Kobold Subscribers

As a way to say thanks to everyone who has supported Kobold Quarterly as a subscriber this year, I've given them all a Easter egg: a free adventure from Highmoon Media Productions!

No, it's not a trick, a scam, or a teaser for anything else. No, we are not launching a line of kobold-flavored adventures. No, it's not an epic, but it is fun.

The adventure is called the Havenmine Gauntlet, it is written by Adam "Trans Am" Daigle and naturally, it features kobolds.

Most people will have to pay actual cash dollars to get a copy, but not KQ subscribers! Anyone who becomes a new subscriber from now until April 18th gets a freebie copy too. So, um, why not subscribe? A PDF subscription is just $16 in our worthless American pesos. That's, like, 2 euros or something. And print+PDF subscriptions are likewise a bargain at 33% off the full retail price.

PS. If you are a subscriber and didn't get your copy, let me know your correct email address. A few bounced like bunnies.

Thanks! I will look at this!

I'll sent you a renewal notice with the last issue of your subscription.

If you prefer to just re-up now, by all means, set it up now and beat the rush. I'll extend your existing subscription.

How to renew?
This post reminded me that my KQ subscription is probably on the ropes but how do I renew? It took me a while to find out where to login to my account on the KQ webpage (you can only get to it via the "Store"). Once I did log in I couldn't figure out where to see the status of my subscription and/or renew? =( Confusing.

Thanks for the thanks, thougg. Does Hivemind Gauntlet come with your recommendation?

Re: How to renew?
Havenmine does come with my recommendation, though it is a Highmoon Media Production and not an Open Design project.

I think it's a fun little gauntlet, and you can't beat the price.

As for renewals, I'll send those out to the charter subscribers when issue #4 goes out.

Re: How to renew?
Yeah, that was a cool short little adventure. The illustrations and the maps are well done. Big plus in my book.

I think my kobold got eaten
I was too quick on pulling the trigger on my Spam folder, I think mine got eaten. Can you please resend?

Thanks! It's a nicely done location. I enjoy designs that make sense from the nature and interests of the creatures that live there. The backstory and earlier rooms fit particularly well.

I’m stoked that y’all have enjoyed that little location. I’d hesitate to call it an adventure, and lean more toward it being a scenario or location. Broken down to basics, the thing is a collection of traps with an interesting back story.

Even if I hadn’t written this, I’d love the surprise bonus of a freebie PDF just for being dedicated enough to subscribe to this awesome magazine! Thanks for doing all of this Wolfgang! Kudos to all the subscribers of this potent periodical!
