Best Issue Yet
And the good just keeps getting gooder.

Awesome issue, tons of amazing content, great art - KQ is really hitting its stride.

I _really_ like the way you pulled the Gangs article together btw.

Re: Best Issue Yet
Thank you! I was an editor before I was a designer, and sometimes it shows. :)

If you want to put up a review on Paizo or DriveThru, I would be very grateful.

Adopt a Soldier
Wolfgang,

In KQ4 I see an offer to adopt a soldier, sending them a KQ subscription. I went to the KQ store and don't see a place to purchase such a subscription.

Could you point me in the right direction? Being a veteran myself, I would love to spread the joy of KQ and bring a little happiness and home to those who are serving now.

Re: Adopt a Soldier
It was a day behind, but the program is now active. You can read about it and sponsor one or more soldiers at the Adopt a Soldier page of KQ.com.

I should probably post something about it in the blog as well.

Thanks my man!

Really though, it was Wolfgang. I had a kernel of a good idea, and Wolfgang had many many good ideas. On top of it, he polished my stuff, then put it all together and made it flow seamlessly. Hats off to him.

I hear what you're saying too, the article really does make you want to cross swords with the gangs in Zobeck.

Adriel, angel of Hope
What an absolutely fantastic article. I don't generally include demons and angels in my games, simply because I tend to keep things below epic levels, but this article has really got me thinking of doing something to incorporate Adriel, and perhaps the Dreads, in my next game. The quality of the research, inventiveness, and writing in this article took me back to the very best days of Dragon.

Tim and Eileen do astounding work. I'm glad you liked it.

Please do review it on RPGNow, ENWorld, or the Paizo site!

Re: Adriel, angel of Hope
I just posted a review on Paizo. I wanted to read the whole issue before I posted anything so that it was fair and included my opinion on the entire issue. In short my opinion is: FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC !

Re: Adriel, angel of Hope
Thank you!

Reviews are always great to see, and the positive reviews make it so much easier to bear down and try to make the next issue even better.

Zobeck?
I've just started reading KQ4, and I have to say that I've really enjoyed the magazine so far. I'm glad I decided to subscribe, this has been a real treat.

I do have one question, however. The Gangs of Zobeck article has really intrigued me - where can I find more information on the city and its inhabitants? I'm hoping that I didn't miss out on the opportunity when I did not become a patron for Castle Shadowcrag and Brass & Steam (if I can remember the name correctly).

Thanks for your help!

Re: Zobeck?
I'm glad you like the magazine! A lot of people have worked pretty hard to get KQ up to speed, and I think it's starting to show.

For Zobeck, well, you're half right about sources for it. There is some Zobeck material in Steam & Brass, and a little in Castle Shadowcrag. Most of it, though, has been posted here for senior patrons or included in every issue of KQ.

I'm working on the sourcebook for Zobeck, but it's slow going. I hope to ship it late this year or early next.

I'm most impressed with the incredible print quality of the hard copy edition. First off, the color cover is great, but best of all its perfect bound rather than saddle stitched. This thing looks like it was put together by a team of editors with lots of money.

And the articles are always topnotch.

Thank you!

Please post a review at RPG.net, ENWorld, Paizo, or KQ.com if you are so inclined.

I took a bit of a risk with the print size and quality this time, and KQ needs more subscribers to continue doing the top-notch printing.

I'm with sgstyrsky. I hate the saddle stitch, not because its worse for use, but because you don't see what the book is from the spline.

The new magazine binding is a big damn plus.
